What BrokerLogs is
BrokerLogs is a workspace for employee-benefits brokerages to track client groups, insurance policies, and renewals. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name and email address through Clerk, our authentication provider.
Brokerage data. Your team enters business records about the client groups you serve: group names, contacts, policy and carrier details, renewal dates, and premiums. This data belongs to your brokerage.
Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not build advertising profiles.
We do not collect protected health information. BrokerLogs stores group and policy metadata only — no member health data, diagnoses, claims, or enrollment census details.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the service: authenticating your team, showing your renewal pipeline, and sending the renewal reminder emails your organization configures. We also use it to respond to support requests and to bill your subscription.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Tenant isolation
Every record in BrokerLogs is scoped to your organization. Data access is partitioned by organization at the query layer, so one brokerage's data is never visible to another.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service:
- Clerk — authentication, organizations, and billing management
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting and aggregate analytics
- Neon — database hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each provider processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your organization has an account. If you want your account or your organization's data deleted, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new effective date above.
